Our Mission / Vision

According to Jeremiah 9:17-21:

Our mission is to continue in prayers and fastings before The Lord; and when summoned, to render comfort and service to the members of The Body of Christ. To teach young women to wail/travail and how to pray and war in The Spirit!

Our vision is to see the gifts of both young and old in The Body of Christ be stirred up, birthed out and used, as intended in Ephesians 4:11-13; and to usher in the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

How Our Ministry Was Started

The Daughters of Anna was founded by its leader and President, Elect Lady Keskler (Kes) A. Humphries in September of 2016.

On a Tuesday Morning at a weekly, 6:00 A.M., church prayer meeting – The Holy Ghost visited Elect Lady Humphries with deep travail, and “with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

After continual prayer, inquiring of The Holy Spirit to make plain the visitation, the instructions were to: “gather me women and sing praises unto me.” One day soon after, while meditating on the Lord and singing praises to Him, again The Lord spoke to Elect Lady and gave her the name “Anna”; to confirm that she had heard correctly, He told her to turn to Luke 2:36-38; thus the Ministry’s name was given; “The Daughters of Anna.”

Since that day, the Ministry has been blessed with a core group of faithful, mature women who love God, and are committed to ushering in the second coming of Christ through fasting, prayer, praise, and worship:

Sis. Jennie Wells; a very powerful, anointed prophetic intercessor; whom God has chosen from the foundation of the world to intercede on behalf of all those that call upon her for prayer.
Sis. Lynette Gibson; one of the original members, a praying woman who has a loving, kind spirit; and whose “bowels are filled with compassion” for all people.

To help further the Ministry, God has sent anointed, praying women who have graced us and blessed us with their love, prayers, gifts and talents, and to whom we shall be eternally grateful!

In addition, we thank God for our wonderful, God fearing husbands, who were wise enough to recognize the anointing on our lives and have agreed to support us in this ministry.

The Daughters of Anna hosts a weekly prayer/conference call every Thursday morning at 6:30 A.M.; and because of the spiritual climate in which we live, there is a “clarion call” for women to join us for this anointed, uplifting and powerful time of fellowship, encouragement and prayer around the Word of God.
